A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit NeXgen Motors' new Lindon, Utah, facility, just down the road from their former location in Orem, Utah. As a business development consultant, I was there to tour the expanded facility and meet with members of the management team to discuss vision and direction for 2026 and beyond.

I expected a standard strategic planning session. What I got was something much more meaningful.

What followed was a candid, energizing conversation. Our President and Owner, our VP of Operations, and our General Manager opened up about why they come to work every day, what keeps them up at night, and what fills them with pride.

The whiteboard filled up fast. But as different as our roles are, three themes kept surfacing again and again: trust, quality, and people, not as buzzwords, but as the actual foundation of how we operate.

What came out of that session was a renewed commitment to a mission and a set of values we already live by, now re-written so we — and you — can hold us accountable, and I wanted to share with you.
